About Vedananda Pandeya

Vedananda’s journey in yoga and education began at the Sri Aurobindo Yoga Mandir in Nepal, an educational ashram dedicated to the Integral Yoga teachings of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. Growing up in this environment, Vedananda learned and lived the philosophies of yoga from a young age.

After studying mathematics and physics in Germany, Vedananda returned to the ashram and became the director of Sri Matri Aurobindo Vidyalaya at the age of 24.
Deeply passionate about education, Vedananda explores various pedagogical methods to inspire lifelong learning. He advocates for alternative education and sustainable community practices, integrating these principles into his daily life at the ashram. His commitment to living the philosophies of yoga ensures that his teachings are not just theoretical but deeply rooted in practice.

In addition to teaching mathematics, science, and philosophy, Vedananda enjoys spending time with the students, playing the guitar and tabla, and organizing international educational events. His dedication to holistic education and community building creates a vibrant and nurturing environment for all.
